What is Ohio Cryptid?

After an exhaustive search for a cryptozoological investigation group in Ohio I have decided to create a new one. I am aware of many of the Bigfoot organizations, but there is more to cryptozoology than Bigfoot and Grassman. Many of these organizations are closed to new investigators and I know there are many out there who are researching and wish to investigate. I have created this website along with a blog and a social network dedicated to this field in the buckeye state.

Ohio Cryptid is an open-source network consisting of a website, blog, community and eventual database of sightings that is open to researchers, investigators and witnessess of cryptozoological creatures. The purpose of these sites is to document and investigate claims to hopefully establish knowledge of the existence of the creatures.
